Presented by AARP of St. Louis in partnership with the Nine Network and St. Louis Pubic Radio.

Join us for the inaugural season of Dancing in the Commons, a free summer series in the Public Media Commons. Professional dancers from Convergence Dance and Body Center will demonstrate the basic steps, then it’s your time on the open-air dance floor.

You must be 18 years and older to attend. There will be snacks for sale along with a cash bar. Please bring chairs for seating.

Meet and take photos with your favorite PBS KIDS® characters. Stories will be read and shared on the big outdoor screen. There will be crafts, games, and other fun activities for the whole family. The events are free, but registration is required. Tickets will be available one month before each event.

Join host Cat Neville and meet the folks behind the farm-to-market movement and taste produce, meats and cheeses at their peak of freshness, straight from the farm to the Public Media Commons.

The foods of Asia are vast and varied and at our July Taste & See, host Cat Neville brings you vibrant flavors from China, Korea, Japan and Vietnam. Dumplings, soups, noodle dishes and stir fries star at this mid-summer event, where the vibrant flavors of east and south Asia will be on display.

Sweet frozen treats are a hallmark of summertime fun and this Taste & See will give you a taste of everything, from snow cones to ice cream. Host Cat Neville will take you on a tour of local frozen favorites, with a few savory dishes on offer as well. Boozy cocktails, handmade ice cream and other hot-weather favorites are sure to keep you cool on this August night.
