Storytime in the Commons

Storytime in the Commons returns bigger and better than ever with more PBS KIDS characters and themes focused on learning and character building. 

Meet and take photos with your favorite PBS KIDS® characters. Stories will be read and shared on the big outdoor screen. There will be crafts, games, and other fun activities for the whole family. 

Storytime in the Commons are held on Saturdays from 9:30–11:00 a.m. in the Public Media Commons, between the Nine Network and St. Louis Public Radio., 3653 Olive Street, St. Louis.

The events are free, but registration is required. Tickets will be available one month before each event.

May 5 – Care for Our Environment
Featuring Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 & Thing 2.

June 2 – Get into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Featuring Peg + Cat & Sid the Science Kid.

July 7 – Respect Others
Featuring Arthur & Clifford the Big Red Dog.

August 4 – Embrace Cultural Diversity
Featuring WordGirl & Super Why! 

September 29 – Be My Neighbor Day - SOLD OUT
Featuring Daniel Tiger & Katerina Kittycat.

Storytime in the Commons is presented by Delta Dental of Missouri, St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Republic Services in partnership with Nine Network’s Ready to Learn initiative, St. Louis Public Library and St. Louis Public Radio.
