St. Louis, MO — October 22, 2019 — Nine Network and St. Louis Public Radio, along with presenting sponsor Johnnie Brock’s Dungeon Party Warehouse, presents 1993's camp classic, Hocus Pocus, outdoors in the Public Media Commons, 3653 Olive Street, this Friday, October 25.
The Public Media Commons’ urban address and two-story-high screen makes it an ideal spot to watch and share a laugh as a trio of witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy) is accidentally conjured up by teenagers, who must race to stop them from becoming immortal by the end of the night.
The pre-movie hijinks include a costume contest and an Oh So Vivant photo booth. (Please, no costumes with weapons, drug paraphernalia, etc.) The movie starts at 8:00 p.m. Please bring chairs or blankets for seating.
Tickets are $10 at nineNet.org/events and include a light meal and a specialty cocktail or mocktail. A cash bar will be available to purchase other beverages.
This event is rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, we will move indoors to the Nine Network's Bayer Studio (no need to bring your own chair if inside).
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Hocus Pocus is rated PG for some scary sequences and for language.
