Teaching in Room 9

Nine PBS’s award-winning kids’ program meets school readiness needs and continues to transform the early childhood educational landscape. It reflects Nine PBS’s commitment to preparing kids for school and for life. Filmed in our studio, it features a host, special guests, field trips to treasured landmarks and essential healthcare providers, and some of the region’s best classroom teachers. Literacy is the focus of every episode.

Monday–Friday, 9:30–10 am on Nine PBS and livestream

Episodes can also be viewed at ninepbs.org, on YouTube, and on the PBS Video App
