Washington University Medical School is leading a study that could lead to the prevention or cure of Alzheimer’s disease. A global initiative is working to identify and protect vital ocean areas called “hope spots” by establishing marine sanctuaries. A new study of a thousand children finds a correlation between the surface area of their brains and their socioeconomic status.
