Last Updated by Dale Fisher on

On November 14, 2019, in Nine's Bayer Studio,  a conversation exploring the alignment of local racial equity work with Lynn Novick's docuseries, College Behind Bars, was held. Panelists included Novick, Dyjuan Tatro, Bethany Johnson-Javois and Mary Ferguson.

College Behind Bars explores the transformative power of education through the eyes of incarcerated men and women working to earn college degrees and turn their lives around in one of the most rigorous and effective prison education programs in the United States—the Bard Prison Initiative (BPI).

The two-night broadcast on Nine PBS is Monday, November 25 and Tuesday, November 26 from 9–11:00 p.m. The film can be streamed on nineNet.org and the PBS Video App for a limited time following the broadcast.
